Mary graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a BSc.Eng in Computing Science/Industrial Engineering. After working in Houston following graduation, Mary arrived in Bermuda in January of 1987. She has worked in the computer departments of Cooper & Lines, L.P. Gutteridge, and Alexander Insurance Managers (now Aon Insurance Managers). In 1997, Mary gave up work to stay home and raise her family of four children. In 2008, she attended Bermuda College, receiving certificates for Nursery and Primary Teaching.
In February of 2009, Mary joined the Open Airways team, initially providing IT and media expertise. In 2018 she took on full operational management of Open Airways, including fundraising.
Mary brings a diverse set of knowledge to the team – tackling the accounts, budgets, endless proposals and analysis reports; creating graphically designed posters, flyers and booklets; maintaining our social media presence and website; and even using carpentry skills to create easels for use at events.
As a vital member of the Open Airways team, Mary is cheerful, organized, efficient and always willing to take on a new challenge.
